This* isn't meant to be the final day game thread. That's Young Stapler's gig. But given that I'm excited about the final day and due to the time zone difference meaning I'll be asleep at its beginning, I wanted to make this pre-game post. Due to the combination of the play-in game and the condensed schedule, there are so many games with high stakes today. Feel free to copy/paste it into the eventual game thread if it is helpful. Who do you have?

Boston
@New york, 1pm
Boston: Set as EC 7th seed regardless of outcome. Will play either Charlotte, Washington, or Indiana in play-in game for the 7th seed. If they lose that, they will play the winner of the other two of those two teams for the 8th seed.
New York: A win assures them the 4th seed with homecourt advantage over Atlanta. A loss could put them anywhere between 4th-6th depending on the outcomes of the Atlanta and Miami games.
Charlotte @Washington, 1pm
Charlotte: Will clinch the 8th seed with a win. This will result in a play-in game against Boston. A loss would lead to a play-in game for the 8th seed against the winner of Washington and Indiana. A loss in this game would put Charlotte at the 9th or 10th seed, depending on Indiana's outcome. Regardless of Indiana's outcome, Charlotte would play Indiana in the 9th/10th seed game.
Washington: Will clinch the 8th seed with a win. This will result in a play-in game against Boston. A loss would lead to a play-in game for the 8th seed against the winner of Charlotte and Indiana. A loss in this game would put Washington at the 9th or 10 seed, depending on Indiana's outcome. Regardless of Indiana's outcome, Charlotte would play Indiana in the 9th/10th seed game.
Indiana
@toronto, 1pm
Indiana: A win would clinch the 9th seed. This means Indiana would get home court advantage in the 9th/10th seed game against the loser of Charlotte and Washington. If they were to win this game, they would play the loser of Boston and CHA/WAS for the 8th seed. If Indiana loses against Toronto, they will be assured the 10th seed. They will play on the road at either Washington or Charlotte. If they win that matchup, they will play the loser of Boston and CHA/WAS for the 8th seed.
Toronto: Toronto is locked into the 7th slot for lottery purposes regardless of the outcome of this game.
Phoenix
@San Antonio, 2pm
Phoenix: A win, combined with a Utah Loss will put Phoenix as the Number 1 seed. In any other scenario, Phoenix will remain the 2 seed.
San Antonio: They are assured the 10th seed. They will play in the 9/10 game against the loser of today's game between Golden State and Memphis. If they win that game, they will play against the loser of (the winner of today's GS/MEM game) and either the Lakers or Trailblazers for a chance to enter the playoffs as the 8th seed.
Memphis

Memphis: A win clinches the 8th seed. They will play either the Los Angeles Lakers or Portland Trailblazers in the 7/8 game. If they win, they are the 7th seed. If they lose, they will play the winner of the GSW/SA game. If they lose this game, they clinch the 9th seed. They will play in the 9/10 game against San Antonio. If they win, they will play either GSW, LAL, or POR for the 8th seed.
Golden State: A win clinches the 8th seed. They will play either the Los Angeles Lakers or Portland Trailblazers in the 7/8 game. If they win, they are the 7th seed. If they lose, they will play the winner of the MEM/SA game. If they lose this game, they clinch the 9th seed. They will play in the 9/10 game against San Antonio. If they win, they will play either MEM, LAL, or POR for the 8th seed.
Houston @Atlanta, 7pm
Houston: Houston has already clinched the top seed for lottery purposes.
Atlanta: An Atlanta win combined with a New York loss would give Atlanta the 4th seed against either New York or Miami. An Atlanta win combined with a New York win would give Atlanta the 5th seed against New York.
Cleveland @Brooklyn, 7pm
Cleveland: Cleveland is currently tied for 5th with Minnesota for lottery seeding. A win and a Minnesota loss would put them at 6th. A loss coupled with a Minnesota, Orlando, and OKC loss would keep them tied for 5th. A loss and a win by any of the aforementioned teams could allow them to move up or more teams to enter the tie. In such cases, ties will be randomly broken at the end of the season.
Brooklyn: A win clinches the 2nd seed. A loss and a Milwaukee loss also leads to the 2nd seed. A loss and a Milwaukee win drops Brooklyn to the 3rd seed vs. New York, Atlanta, or Miami.
Orlando @Philadelphia, 7pm
Orlando: Currently tied with OKC for 3rd in lottery seeding. A loss by Orlando coupled by a win by Detroit will move Orlando up to tied-2nd in lottery seeding. A loss by Orlando and a win by Detroit keeps Orlando at tied for 3rd (assuming an OKC loss). A win by Orlando and a loss by OKC drops Orlando to 4th or tied for 4th in lottery seeding.
Philadelphia: Already clinched the top seed in the East.
Miami
@Detroit, 8pm
Miami: A New York loss coupled with a Miami win puts Miami at the 5th seed. If New York wins their game earlier in the day, this game is meaningless to Miami.
Detroit: A loss guarantees sole possession of the 2nd seed in lottery seeding. A win will put them at tied for 3rd with OKC and Orlando assuming they lose.
Los Angeles Lakers
@new Orleans, 9pm:
Lakers: A win coupled with a Portland loss will give the Lakers the 6th seed, avoiding the play-in game(s). Any other result will have the Lakers as the 7th seed, playing the winner of the GSW/MEM game. A loss in this game would have them playing the winner of the loser of the GSW/MEM game vs. San Antonio.
New Orleans: Currently tied for 9th in Lottery seeding. A loss coupled with a Chicago win would put them at tied for 8th. A win coupled with a Sacramento loss would put them at 10th. In other situations, they will remain tied for 9th.
Milwaukee @Chicago, 9pm:
Milwaukee: A win coupled with a Brooklyn loss gives Milwaukee the 2nd seed. Any other scenario keeps Milwaukee at the 3rd seed.
Chicago: Currently in 8th place in lottery seeding. A win coupled with a Sacramento and/or New Orleans loss drops them to tied for 9th. Otherwise, they stay in 8th.
Dallas @Minnesota, 9pm
Dallas: A win or Portland loss assures Dallas the 5th seed vs. Denver or LAC. A loss and Portland win drops Dallas to the 6th seed vs. Denver or LAC.
Minnesota: Currently tied for 5th in lottery seeding. A win and Cleveland Loss will drop them to 6th. A loss and wins by OKC or Orlando will elevate them to tied for 3rd or 4th.
Denver @Portland, 9pm
Denver: A win assures Denver the 6th seed vs. Portland or the Lakers. A loss coupled with a Clippers win drops Denver to the 4th seed versus Dallas or Portland.
Portland: A win coupled by a Dallas loss gives Portland the 5th seed. A win and a Dallas win gives Portland the 6th seed. A loss and a Lakers loss also gives Portland the 6th seed. A loss and a Lakers win gives Portland the 7th seed.
