He’s at disposal of the team. There have been the usual rumours about him, but he has never been put on the transfer market and there has never been a negotiation. These are the usual commonplaces created by the media that have no real confirmations. Buffon? We are extremely grateful towards him. There is a blank contract ready, we’ll meet when he wants to. He’ll stay here until he wants. Pogba? We started negotiating with his agent, we hope to reach a positive conclusion in a short period of time.”

Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta left the door open for more transfers. “If the opportunity arises...”
The Bianconeri have been linked with Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic and even Monaco striker Radamel Falcao on loan.
“If the opportunity arises, then we will take it, but at the moment we have achieved most of our transfer targets,” Marotta told reporters today.
“We’ll see what happens over the next few weeks. We took on this season by maintaining most of the core from the previous squads and in the last 10 days we’ll see if any opportunities present themselves.
“We still need a forward, a support striker in an area where we already have a lot of guarantees, but it won’t be a shock level profile.

The former Milan tactician took over from Antonio Conte last month and was greeted with mixed reactions from the supporters.
“There is a new Coach with a new generation of fans,” Elkann told Sky Sport Italia. “We have always done great things and I am sure we can continue that with Allegri.
“He feels profoundly connected to Juventus and confessed to me he has always been a Bianconeri fan! A new era begins and it will certainly be ambitious.”
Meanwhile, Conte is officially the new Coach of the Italy squad after terminating his Juve contract by mutual consent.
“I sent a personal message to Conte. It will be a great challenge for him and we hope he’ll be as successful as always.
“Juventus will provide the spine of the Nazionale and there’s everything needed to do well.”

Juventus beat their Primavera youth team 6-1, but Arturo Vidal has a new knee problem to deal with.
The Bianconeri traditionally begin their season with an ‘in-house’ game between the A and B teams at the Villar Perosa ground.
Carlos Tevez opened the scoring within 120 seconds, wiped out by Roussos.
Tevez netted another on the rebound from Fernando Llorente’s crossbar, but missed a penalty before Stephan Lichtsteiner converted Andrea Pirlo’s assist.
Roberto Pereyra, Vitale and Buenacasa were also on target.
Vidal was on the bench but did not come on and Sky Sport Italia noted he had an ice pack strapped to his right knee. When spotted by the cameras, he tried to cover it with teammate Paul Pogba's shirt.
As this is the knee that went under the knife before the World Cup, there are concerns over how it has been handling the pre-season training regime.
The Chile international tried to reassure fans by posting a picture of himself with Giorgio Chiellini on Twitter.
“I am ready to play on Saturday in the Trofeo TIM,” he wrote.
That tournament is a pre-season test with 45-minute games against Milan and Sassuolo.
