Giggs - I want record
Veteran wants record fourth straight title next term
Ryan Giggs is not resting on his laurels after helping Manchester United win another title - he wants the Red Devils to go on and win a record-breaking fourth on the trot.
Saturday's success means the veteran has now scooped 11 Premier League titles with the Old Trafford outfit.
The latest win means United have become the first club to achieve a hat-trick of titles twice, having done what Huddersfield, Arsenal and Liverpool previously achieved between 1999 and 2001.
But Giggs is looking to further success, saying: "I hope we win another one next year.
"No-one has ever won it four times on the trot so that is another record for us to break."
It has been a memorable season for the 35-year-old on a personal level after he collected the PFA Player of the Year award and made a landmark 800 appearances for the Red Devils.
But Giggs says it is all about success on the field, not personal accolades.
"It has been a special season for me," he said.
"I would rather have league titles than personal accolades.
"But I was so happy to win that PFA award at my age. And being a United fan growing up, to play 800 times for the club is brilliant for me.
"It has been a special time for the club since the manager took over. We have been fortunate to win so much, hopefully we can carry it on."
Another long-serving player, Gary Neville, believes the current squad is the strongest ever assembled by Sir Alex Ferguson.
He said: "The thing about this squad is you can't really name a side.
"Through the season so many players have contributed. It's about the squad and everybody's contributed really well.
"The depth of the squad you can't compare. This is the best squad by far, it's the strongest."

Ronaldo 'really, really happy'
United winger revels in third successive title
Cristiano Ronaldo insists he is 'really, really happy' at Manchester United after winning a third successive Premier League title.
The Portuguese winger continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford after being courted by Real Madrid last summer.
United resisted the overtures of the Spanish giants 12 months ago, but reports claim Real will make a renewed bid to sign Ronaldo at the end of the season.
Ronaldo has long held a desire to play in Spain and again hinted at a move away from the newly-crowned champions in the future.
However, the 24-year-old was keen to stress his happiness with United after a 0-0 draw at home to Arsenal clinched the title.
He told Sky Sports 1: "It's brilliant, the atmosphere here is unbelievable, the supporters screaming, singing songs... it's amazing but
the future you never know.
"
But as I said before, I'm really, really happy here."
The 24-year-old was delighted to have helped the Red Devils to an 11th Premier League title at Old Trafford, and an 18th top-flight crown to draw level with Liverpool.
"It's a fantastic achievement, to win at home the Premier League again, it's a brilliant feeling - always brilliant." he said. "All the supporters and all the fans are brilliant.
"I try to do my best all the time. We win the league and now we go to win the Champions League.
"We have to enjoy this moment. This moment is very special. In the next two or three days we have to concentrate on the Champions League because everyone wants to win this competition."
