Statsminister Jens Stoltenberg, som selv har sammenlignet seg med Tony Soprano, hyller den avdøde skuespilleren James Gandolfini.www.nrk.no
Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, who has compared himself to Tony Soprano, pays tribute to the late actor James Gandolfini.
Actor James Gandolfini, best known for his role as Tony Soprano, died on Wednesday in Italy, aged 51. He died of what is likely to be a heart attack while traveling in Italy.
The Prime Minister himself is a big fan of TV series, and especially The Sopranos. He describes the series as completely new in its genre when it came out, and that it has inspired several others who have come after. - It is a great actor, who has given fantastic film experiences to millions of people, who have passed away. I myself have had great pleasure in watching The Sopranos over several years, says Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg to NRK.no.
Stoltenberg has several times compared the job as prime minister with the job Tony Soprano does as mafia leader. - I have identified with him based on the fact that both jobs involve a lot of responsibility and a lot of balls in the air. Everyone comes and complains to him and wants to solve their problems. Although we operate in very different industries, there are some commonalities between our jobs. They involve many conflicts and compromises, says Stoltenberg to NRK.no.

I saw a lot in the beginning, when it was shown on NRK. Later I bought all the DVDs, and often saw several episodes in a row. Some of the scenes are film historical, and I especially like when Tony Soprano sits and watches the ducks swimming around in his pool, says Stoltenberg. Envy Tony the psychiatrist In 2009, Stoltenberg told NRK that he envies Tony Soprano on one point. - The psychiatrist, it would have been very nice to sit with a psychiatrist from time to time, and just unfold all the misery, says Stoltenberg
Stoltenberg has previously talked to Dagbladet about his series favorites, and also highlights the dark crime series The Wire. It was in a documentary series, which was broadcast on TV 2 in 2007, that Stoltenberg first compared himself to Tony Soprano.
Stoltenberg flirted well when Dagbladet presented this Tony quote to the Prime Minister: "With respect to reporting, you have no fucking idea what it's like to be number one. Every decision you make has an impact on all hell's things. It's almost too much to deal with. And in the end, you are all alone in that. " - It is a good quote that is an expression of what it is like to be a leader. Ultimately, it is a lonely position, despite fantastic help from advisers, Stoltenberg said.
