Dying Unspoken
The wind swept over the mountaintops,
over long forgotten realms,
kissing the trees and the lonely meadows where once proud we stood,
lo and behold, a tiny sliver of light, as a sparkle of moonlight,
a child came up, unfazed by the wind, or the darkness within,
he brought a rose red, over his fathers grave,
and the wind still howled, and the wind still swept,
as the child stood there, alone, forever and lost.
Why did we came to this?
It is a red dawn rising, a fell breath of foul,
a hordes of the devils brats, descending upon the child
yet it still stood solemn, unwavering in his plight
eyes raised to the heaven, hands as if in might
Father, he mouthed, arise for I needed thee
Father if you ever were, receive my last rites
And the wind still howled, and the wind still swept
as the tress started crying, and the meadows flowed with blood
yet no single tear was shed,
or someone remembered the name.
of the lonely child on the meadow,
on the windswept mountain top.
