Браво за Пандев многу добар гест од негова страна, како што им доликува на големите фудбалери.
After having his contract rescinded less than a week ago, former Lazio hitman chose the pages of Roman daily Il Messaggero to give his last salute to the Aquile faithful following an ongoing saga that has dragged on for nearly six months.
“The last few months have taught me how ugly lies can be,” he declared in an open letter.
“I don’t want to use false sweet words now that I am on my way. It has always been my intention to be sincere as I have been since my first day at Formello.
“What I say might offend some. From 2010 I will be an opponent. I will celebrate and hug team-mates with a new shirt, one different to the Biancocelesti.
“I will try to be happy again as I was in the first four years in this city.
“Many times in these years I thought I would stay with Lazio for life. Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible but this happens in football.
“I am hurt having to leave in such a way. I love beating defenders on the field and not winning in the courtroom. Being a footballer, I should have nothing to do with lawyers and such matters.
“It shouldn’t have finished like this but it was out of my hands. Arrivederci Roma, and happy New Year Lazio.”
