Chelsea are on the verge of finalising a deal for David Luiz after Benfica reportedly accepted an offer.
The Portuguese club's Administrative Council met late on Monday and accepted one of Chelsea's proposals.
They have opted to take €25million (£21.5million) plus one of Chelsea's young players valued at €5million, taking the overall deal to €30million.
It is reported that Benfica will take one of Slobodan Rajkovic, Nemanja Matic, Patrick van Aanholt or Fabio Borini.
A breakdown of the deal will see Benfica take €18.75million, while their investment fund Benfica Stars will recoup €6.25million.
Luiz's former clubs Vitoria Bahia (€560,000) and Sao Paulo (€187,000) will also get smaller pay-outs from their own clauses.
It is reported that Luiz will fly to London on Tuesday for his medical and Chelsea have already applied for his work-permit.
