L’Equipe claims Juventus are determined to shift Adrien Rabiot, but the midfielder’s reported desire to join Everton is proving a problem.
According to the newspaper, Juve have wanted to sell Rabiot since his ‘poor performance’ during the 1-0 defeat to Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League on February 26.
The 25-year-old returned to base later than his teammates barring Gonzalo Higuain, who was looking after his sick mother, but this is not considered a punishable offence.
He only joined from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer last summer, inking a five-year contract worth €7.5m a season after tax.
However, the newspaper claims his mother and agent Veronique was unhappy Juve forced him to take a pay cut for four months, even after pocketing a €10m signing-on bonus.
As for where he could go next, L’Equipe writes he has already been offered to Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal, with eyes on swap deals for Jorginho and Paul Pogba.
It is also suggested Rabiot - and not Miralem Pjanic - could be sent to Barcelona in exchange for Arthur, although the Catalans may not want him after he rejected them once already.
Instead, the publication states his desire is to link up with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.
Ancelotti gave the Frenchman his big break at PSG in 2012, when he was still just 17, but the Toffees would not have any players who interest the Old Lady.
There is also the problem of his huge salary, although he may be willing to accept a lower wage in order to push the move through.
Rabiot has made 24 appearances for Juve this season, without registering a goal or an assist.

“We were on an extended vacation after the World Cup in Brazil, he was fired up, tense, and all it took was a couple of moments for everything to finally break.
“Antonio is a ‘fiery’ personality, but I am convinced that if we had all been there, he would’ve stayed. Having said that, looking back, he should’ve left in May that year, which would’ve been a more fitting end to his time at Juventus.”
Conte was followed by another very intense tactician, Allegri, who went on to win another five Serie A titles.
“Conte is one of the greats, but he bleeds you dry,” continued Chiellini. “He had got everything out of us and reached the end, just as Allegri did last year.
“It was more the end for Conte than for Juventus. He had only decided to remain out of love for Juve, but then lost his temper two months later when his key players weren’t able to intervene. If Leo, Andrea, Gigi and I had been there, we wouldn’t have let him go.”
There continue to be rumours on what happened behind the scenes to prompt such a sudden departure.
“Nothing special happened, there was no argument or even a physical altercation with President Andrea Agnelli, of course not. It’s just that things finish, just as with Beppe Marotta and Allegri.”

Ова би било глупост на деценијата од страна на Јувентус ако се оствари. Па која е вредноста на Семедо во споредба со нашиве двајца па и уште доплата. Или новинариве пуштаат патка некоја и Пјанич го увалуваат цело време во секоја зделка или Паратичи има добиено излив.
