I am sending you the three scans relating to the Greek
incident. The first, attached to this email, is a copy of the actual
newspaper text with the paper.
The applicable caption for this, as published in the
MPO document, which
originally highlighted the matter, reads
-----------------------------------------------------------------
A reproduction of the Athens' newspaper “Sphera” of September 1, 1959, which
published a detailed story of the ceremony which took place in the village
of Atrapos (Krapeshina), accompanied by a photograph of the moment when the
villagers --- mostly women and children --- took "the oath before God" to
cease speaking Bulgarian. The uniformed man in front is the field-guard. The
oath, marked on the side, reads as follows:
"I do promise before God, the people, and the official state authorities,
that from this day on I shall cease to speak the Slav dialect which gives
ground for misunderstandings to the enemies of our country -- the Bulgarians
-- and that I will speak always and everywhere the official language of our
fatherland, the Greek language, in which the Holy Gospel is written.”

after the "Australian" stalinists became aware of this (through the Tribune)
they organised their own protest but changed "Bulgarian" to
"Slav-Macedonian". I have copies of this as well.
