Based on current findings, the individuals under investigation by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office are, for now, all from within the refereeing world and are believed to have been part of the alleged agreement on 2 April 2025 at San Siro with Gianluca Rocchi to “arrange” the appointment of Andrea Colombo — a referee considered favourable to Inter — for the away match in Bologna on 20 April 2025.

At the same time, the aim was to “shield” the club — that is, to prevent Daniele Doveri, deemed “unfavourable” to the Nerazzurri — from officiating a potential Coppa Italia final last season and Inter’s remaining league matches in the 2024/25 campaign.

Instead, Doveri was assigned to referee the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final between Inter and Milan.

According to what has emerged, Milan prosecutors, in this strand of the investigation concerning alleged complicity in sporting fraud involving Rocchi, have elements pointing to the “multiple individuals” referenced in the charge — all believed to be part of the refereeing circle — in connection with the alleged arrangement at the Meazza.
However, the investigation is ongoing, with prosecutors seeking further evidence through interviews and technical analysis, and the scope of the case could still widen.

According to what emerges from the prosecution's documents, #Rocchi would have arranged with other #AIA officials certain designations, assigning a referee favorable to #Inter and blocking an unfavorable one for the entire end of the season.
