AC Milan thrashed PSV 3-0 tonight thanks to 2 surprising goals from Kevin Prince Boateng but it seems that Max Allegri is still angry at the pot-shots Italian media keeps taking at him.
“We have gone through the qualifying round and now we will play in the Champions League.Tonight, the comeback that we started in Serie A in January has been concluded.”
“The boys fought hard. PSV are a good team with great technique and we struggled at the start of the second half. There was some tension and anxiety, but the boys defended well and we had only a few risks after the break.”
Furthermore Mr.Allegri addressed the rumors that he was going to be replaced.
“This has been going on for a couple of years, so perhaps I’ll resign tomorrow morning. I’ll think about it tonight. I am a little annoyed as I read things that are being written and i think that people need to be more objective. There needs to be respect for other people’s work but I enjoy this.”
“I am satisfied with the performance but i am angry tonight. I am very angry. Fortunately we win a game occasionally and the lads allow me to have some fun too but they are trying to make me angry from the outside, it doesn’t work.”
“From the inside i have good rapport with the president, Galliani and the players, still some people like to write rubbish. Maybe they should come take my place and see if they can get the results that I have got. I say this because every now and then you have to set some limits.”
“I am very happy with what the lads did, they gave a great evening to me, the fans and the President. I also thank the supporters, who stood by us during difficult moments.”
