Take this with a grain of salt, coming from the source, but Mundo Deportivo has some very credible thoughts about the possible signing of Jose Mourinho for Real Madrid and the very real possibility that the Galactico Project Mark 2 is over.

The plan consists of this:

* A three year contract minimum although the Portuguese tactician would like a fourth for good measure. It's a basic deal really- one year more than Pellegrini got. The financial terms are probably going to make him the highest paid coach in La Liga, but it's the set-up that'll be different. Mourinho recognizes that the problem at Madrid is that there are too many offices in the chain of command so he'd like to be answerable only to Jose Angel Sanchez, the club's marketing director and Don Florentino himself.
* He wants total control of the football club's sporting interests: its transfer policy and its direct communication with the media. It's a bold move, but indicative of how he likes to control the daily footballing debate and another in that he recognizes the danger in having a too-close relationship with Marca or As. They can turn on him in a heartbeat, especially if the usual politics and infighting continue, so he'll want to dole out access as he sees fit.
* He'll bring in his Portuguese entourage of Rui Filipe Da Cunha, Jose Manuel Ferreira, and Silvino De Almeida to coach the keepers, but he'll want to include someone on his staff that knows the lay of the land as his second: look for Luis Figo in the role. He already had a trial run against Barcelona in the last round.
* Squad: Transfers out: He doesn't want to get his hands dirty with this, but says that he would like the matters with Guti and Raul resolved as he won't count on either. Transfers in: He wants Maicon on the right, and he'll bring in a left back like Kolarov from Lazio. The implication there is that he neither trusts Marcelo, Arbeloa or even Sergio Ramos on the wings. Would he move Ramos to a Pique-like role in the center of defense? He is definitely counting on the full recuperation of Pepe on the other side. On the other hand, he likes both Higuain and Benzema but will not stand in the way of the club unloading any of the titular strikers. Kaka, he envisions behind Ronaldo, who will partner one of the other strikers.
* Finally, he is investigating the options he has both at Castilla and those players that Real Madrid have rights of first refusal to.

If this is true, and I disagree totally with the hiring I might add, but if the dynamic of the club changes, with a streamlining of the organizational structure and a clear vision is put in place, then you have to say objectively that it'll be worth it. It wouldn't have been my plan, nor my vision, but you do have to give him credit for having the chutzpah or the pull to actually negotiate with Don Florentino the parameters by which he would come to Real Madrid. I mean, nobody tells Perez how to run his business, well somebody should have done it a long time ago and I guess if they do well he just goes out and fires them, but here's a guy in Mourinho that is doing just that even before he gets there. Applause all around for the Specious One. Huzzah.

I'm just saying he'd better win and better win quick, or else this could turn ugly quickly making this another in a long-line of entertaining failures that we non-madridistas get a kick out of watching.

Ај да не почнувам да пророчам, ќе си одат многу ќе дојат уште 4ца минимум, пак од почеток и башка нема да ја има играта на Пелегрини.
