Un vero cavaliere non lascia mai la sua signora
Modena Prosecutor's Office files investigation into Sassuolo capital gains case
In the recent history of calcio, there have been several investigations and cases of "fictitious capital gains":
1) Milan - Inter 2008: Player swap, filed and resolved in agreement with FIGC and total fine of €91,000
2) Macro-trial Deportivo of 2022: 11 clubs and 61 executives from Serie A, B, and C; all acquitted
3) Osimhen - Napoli case 2025: filed and acquitted
4) Sassuolo case 2026: filed and acquitted
5) AS Roma, SS Lazio, and US Salernitana 2023: still no judgment issued
6) Modena case 2026: still no judgment issued
7) Prisma case #Juventus 2023: after being acquitted (see Case #2), it was reinvestigated and found guilty of a capital gains system (a system in which apparently only #Juve participated), result: fine of €700,000+, 10-point deduction, suspension from any UEFA competition for 1 year, suspension of the entire club management
In summary: Although the entire Italian football world is "under the microscope" and dozens of clubs were audited, Juventus has been the only team that has so far suffered severe sporting punishments, despite the club already having been acquitted in 2022 for the same cases for which it was punished in 2023
Anyone with even a shred of intellectual honesty could see that there's a black hand at play
Anyone who doesn't want to see it is just another accomplice, but then don't complain and cry when calcio continues to decline compared to other European leagues and the nazionale fails to qualify for the World Cup for 16 years
