Странскиот блог „The Blonde Gypsy“ има стории за повеќето земји од светот, меѓу кои и за Македонија. Девојката која го води блогот, Лариса ака „Blonde Gypsy“ (Русата Ромка), напишала сторија за 15-те работи кои мора да ги знаете ако патувате во Македонија.

Таа Македонија ја опишува како земја во која се чуствувала преудобно, каде и да била, и дека била многу поподготвена за туристи за разлика од нашите соседи Косово и Албанија. Според неа, прашање на време е само кога Македонија ќе биде „нападната“ од џет-сетерите. Исто така пишува дека има многу работи кои мора и вредат да се видат.

Посебен акцент наметнува на убавината на Скопје, односно на проектот „Скопје 2014“, а исто така го споменува и Битола, како вториот по големина град и град кој не смее да се одмине. Секако не избегнува да се спомене и Балканскиот бисер, Охрид, местото каде, според неа, може да се види едно од најубавите зајдисонца.

Имено, не само градовите оставиле голем впечаток кај Лариса. Храната и виното се нешто што таа го оценува како одлично, а исто така фасцинирана е од нашето природно богатство, од тоа колку богата природа имаме.

With 1/3 of the country still living below the poverty line, one can’t help but be baffled and even annoyed by the excessive amount of new statues and monuments that have gone up or are going up every which way you turn. Its comparison to Las Vegas is dead on and my only fear is that this crazy project is going to overshadow the inherent attractiveness of the place. It’s hard to deny that it is a strange situation, but overall it shouldn’t take away from what really matters here and that is Skopje is a cool city to visit and is full of cool people. You’ll just have to mind the government’s (hopefully) temporary mess.

Hanging Out in Shutka – Gypsy Capital of the World

Еве и highlights:

Thought what I captured in the video above might have been the dance party I was looking for, but actually the owner of this house just wanted everyone to know that they were the champion of having the loudest speakers in Shutka. I’m pretty sure as the music was ON, but no people or dancing. This also happened.

Definitely have a Gypsy Burger (really just a Shutka pljeskavica) from this joint right on the main road – it’s not far from where you catch the bus back to Skopje. These guys were awesome and the younger one spoke English very well. I think one of the first things he asked me was if I was from Miami. Do I look like I am from Miami?
