El Real Madrid C.F ha decidido finalmente en la noche del lunes traspasar a su jugador Robson da Souza Robinho al Manchester City. A la vista de todos los datos disponibles con anterioridad, el Real Madrid había decidido no traspasar al Chelsea a su jugador. Pero los acontecimientos posteriores, como han sido las declaraciones del jugador, la opinión del entrenador y la formulación este lunes de una nueva oferta por parte del Manchester City han llevado a la directiva del club a decidir finalmente el traspaso de Robinho al citado club inglés.
Esta decisión se ha adoptado después de ponderar debidamente todos los factores humanos y deportivos que concurrían en el caso y teniendo en cuenta además los criterios expuestos por el director deportivo, el entrenador y el secretario técnico del club.
La junta directiva reitera una vez más su total confianza en la actual plantilla y en su capacidad de alcanzar los mayores éxitos deportivos. Por último, el Real Madrid desea a Robinho los mejores éxitos en su nuevo proyecto profesional.
