Head to Head:
United has a good record against Villa. We drew them earlier this season 0-0 away from home, but we beat them last year at Villa Park (1-4 and 2-0) and at home (4-0). That might not serve as much consolation, however. This will be, undoubtedly, a difficult match.
Form:
Villa's form (past 8) is LLLDLWDW. They most recently lost 5-0 to Liverpool, and just prior to that, 1-2 to Spurs (at home). Away from home, they haven't won since their game against Blackburn, which was in February. With Villa's lack of depth, this international break could have done them just as much good as it could have done us.
United's form (past 8) is LLWWWWW. The recent losses have caused a lot of worry and will definitely keep everyone weary of this game, but despite the blip, United was on a run of wins. This international break might have been the opportunity for the lads to pick themselves up.
Injuries/Suspensions:
Villa have Laursen and Sidwell out. United have the regulars (Brown and Hargreaves), Rafael and Berbatov injured. In addition to all of that, we have Scholes, Rooney and Vidic all out due to red cards!
Besides that, I believe we're free of injuries and suspensions. There is a small chance that Ronaldo may have picked up a knock but I highly doubt it.

United's is unpredictable. We're without Rooney and we're likely to be without Berbatov too. This leaves us with Tevez as a proper choice up front, meaning that we'll probably be pushing Ronaldo or Giggs up,or we'll just play the 4-5-1.
The squad will most likely include VDS, O'Shea, Evans, Rio, Evra, Park, Giggs, Carrick, Fletcher, Ronaldo and Tevez.
