'No thanks' to Skopje'

Bradford City chairman Geoffrey Richmond has revealed he was asked to buy Vardar Skopje for £600,000 following this week's friendly.
The Macedonian club's president made the offer before Tuesday's 3-3 draw in the friendly clash between the sides.
The City chief said he may have been tempted if Vardar had been in the European Community because it could have acted as a kind of feeder club for the Bantams.
However, he added: "The club is Government-owned and at the moment they are privatising everything. I am a curious person so I asked him how much and he said 1.5 million DM, which is about £600,000.
"They have produced some very good players in the past. It could have been appealing for Vardar to be a feeder club.
"However, with Macedonia not being in the EC, getting a work permit for players would be very difficult, and therefore I don't intend taking it any further."
Vardar are probably the country's biggest football club and won the first three championships when the Macedonian League was formed in 1992.
They are also the proud owners of one Yugoslav Championship in 1987 and have competed in all three of UEFA's club competitions.
Vardar have international players in defender Zlatko Todorovski and striker Vanco Trajcov, but they missed the clash with City because they were on international duty for Macedonia in Croatia.
The City game was watched by a paltry attendance of just 500, despite the Bantams being told before travelling the crowd could be as much as 50,000.
Richmond criticised the Vardar club at a post-match reception, accusing them of failing to promote the game.
He said: "It was disappointing. There was no programme or teamsheet and the hospitality was very poor. I could have said a lot more at the after-match reception, but chose not to.
"I cleared what I wanted to say with the British Ambassador, who was also very upset by what had happened."
