Juventus have confirmed their interest in Mirko Vucinic and Sergio Aguero, while claiming that a deal for Stephan Lichtsteiner is almost done.
The Turin giants are expected to land a big name striker this summer with Roma’s Vucinic and Aguero of Atletico Madrid associated.
“We are working to define what our best market moves will be,” director general Beppe Marotta noted. “We will be a lot clearer and explicit after our next board meeting.
“Vucinic is a player who we do like, but he is still a Roma player and you will thus have to ask them if you want to know more about him.
“Aguero is in the same situation as Vucinic, but I can tell you that he is an excellent forward who would adapt well to our team.
“When I talk about increasing the level of this team I am referring to individuals such as him. The Argentine is a great player.”
While Marotta refused to commit over who will arrive in attack, he did confirm that right-back Lichtsteiner would be coming from Lazio.
“We are basically there for Lichtsteiner, but we still have to be cautious. There is a small difference with Lazio, but we have an excellent relationship with President Claudio Lotito.”
The Swiss international has a €12m release clause in his contract, but Juve want to pay less.
