Gentlemen of Fortune is a Soviet comedy, filmed at Mosfilm. The stars of the film include famous Soviet actors such as Savely Kramarov, Yevgeny Leonov, Georgy Vitsin, and Radner Muratov.
The film was the leader of Soviet distribution in 1972 having 65.02 million viewers.
The movie follows the story of an amiable kindergarten director named Troshkin who looks exactly like a criminal called Docent (Доцент, literally associate professor) that has stolen Alexander the Great's helmet at an archeological excavation. Docent and his gang are caught by police, but Docent is imprisoned in a different jail than his mates. Since Troshkin looks identical to Docent, the police puts him in prison with the real criminals to get information about the stolen helmet. He must pretend to be the real felon Docent, so in order to be convincing, Troshkin, a well-educated and good-natured man, has to learn slang and manners of criminals.
The film was directed by Aleksandr Seryj who had just came out of prison. Georgi Daneliya assisted him and wrote the script. Seryj used his prison experience to design many situations in the movie, and he also introduced numerous expressions from Russian criminal slang (known as Fenya).[ (Wikipedia)

Morozko Jack Frost/"Морозко" Сказка (1964)


The lovely, humble Nastenka is despised by her stepmother who favors her own daughter. After forcing Nastenka to knit socks before the rooster crows (with Nastenka ultimately imploring the sun to go down again so she can have more time), Nastenka's stepmother gives Nastenka the tasks of feeding the chickens, watering the cattle, splitting wood, and sweeping the yard. We are then introduced to Ivan, who, finishing his chores, heads out into the woods after receiving some final words of guidance from his mother, such as not forgetting his mother, not harming the weak, and honoring those who are old. To all these pieces of advice Ivan off-handedly replies "Don't worry" repeatedly.

Magic, mystery, and mistaken identities are all part of this visually striking fantasy based on a well-known Russian fairy tale. While stopping at a well during a journey, Tsar Yeremey (Mikhail Pugovkin) is confronted by Chudo-Yudo the Lawless (Georgi Millyar), a ill-mannered enchanted creature who lives at the bottom of a lake. Chudo-Yudo refuses to release Yeremey without some sort of tribute, so the Tsar agrees that Chudo-Yudo is allowed to take possession of any of the valuables in his fiefdom that he doesn't know about. However, when Yeremey returns, he learns to his surprise that he has just become a father; terrified that his newborn son will be handed over to Chudo-Yudo, the Tsar makes a secret arrangement with a poor fisherman to exchange babies to keep his child from Chudo-Yudo's clutches. As the children grow to be men, Yeremey pays little attention to pudgy and self-centered Prince Andrei (Sergei Nikolayev), while from a distance he dotes on the strapping fisherman's boy Andrei (Andrei Katyshev); what the Tsar doesn't realize, however, is that there was a mix-up in the exchange of babies, and that his true son has been living with him all along. When Chudo-Yudo decides to claim Prince Andrei as a suitable fiancé for his lovely daughter Barbara (Tatyana Klyuyeva), the sullen young man is spirited away to Chudo-Yudo's underwater lair. Yeremey tells the fisherman's son of what he believes is his true parentage, and the young man sets out to rescue the Prince, little realizing the beauty and charm of Barbara.

Dark Eyes (Italian: Oci ciornie; Russian: Очи чёрные; French: Les Yeux noirs) is a 1987 Italian and Russian language film which tells the story of a 19th century married Italian who falls in love with a married Russian woman. It stars Marcello Mastroianni, Silvana Mangano, Oleg Tabakov, Yelena Safonova, Pina Cei and Vsevolod Larionov.
The film was adapted by Aleksandr Adabashyan, Suso Cecchi d'Amico and Nikita Mikhalkov, "inspired" by stories by Anton Chekhov. It was directed by Mikhalkov.
Mastroianni received the award for Best Actor at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

Aboard a ship early in the 20th-century, a middle-aged Italian tells his story of love to a Russian. In a series of flashbacks filmed almost entirely in creams, whites, and ochers, the clownish and superfluous Romano Patroni leaves his wife's opulent home to visit a spa where he falls in love with a Russian woman whose marriage is a horror. He pursues her into the Russian heartland and returns to Italy resolved to leave his wife and marry his love. His amazed and appreciative Russian listener then narrates a shorter story.

Burnt by the Sun /Утомлённые солнцем (1994 )


Burnt by the Sun is a 1994 film by Russian director and actor Nikita Mikhalkov. The film depicts the effect of Joseph Stalin's Great Purge on a senior Red Army officer and his family. Like a tragedy by Sophocles, Burnt by the Sun takes place over the course of one day.

The film received the Grand Prize at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, among many other honours.

The Soviet Union, summer, 1936. Comdiv Sergei Petrovich Kotov, his wife Maroussia (Ingeborga Dapkūnaitė), and their daughter Nadia are relaxing in a banya, when they are suddenly interupted. A peasant from the local collective farm explains that the Soviet Army's tanks are about to crush the wheat harvest as part of general maneuvers. Although annoyed to be bothered during his vacation, Kotov rides on horseback to where the tank crews are confronting outraged peasants.
At first, a tank officer is enraged when Kotov curses him out. Then, however, Kotov borrows a Soviet officer's cap and the surrounding tank crews realize in horror that they are addressing a senior Old Bolshevik and legendery hero of the Russian Civil War. Kotov demands the radio receiver and speaks directly to Marshal Mikhail Tukhachevsky. As the tank crews listen in rapt admiration, Kotov familiarly addresses the Marshal as, "Misha," and pursuades him to hold maneuvers elsewhere.
Although also impressed, Maroussia teases her husband for being, "coarse." Nadia, however, does not agree and the happy family returns to their country dacha. There, they join Maroussia's relatives, a large and eccentric family of Chekhovian aristocrats.
Into this idyllic setting walks Mitya (Oleg Menshikov), an ex-nobleman and veteran of the anti-communist White Army. In addition, Mitya was also Maroussia's fiance before his sudden disappearance in 1923. He is joyfully embraced by the family and introduced to Nadia as "Uncle Mitya." Maroussia is left feeling deeply conflicted, as Mitya's departure led her to self mutilation and at least one suicide attempt.

This is half-comical half-tragic, half-serious half-playful story of a long ago deteriorated to criminal life simple country lad, which after long years of wild living and countless jail sentences decides he can no longer bear this kind of life. He has poetic, high, even philosophical, truth-seeking soul, unique perspective on life, his own picturesque language, colorful, exhibitionistic behavior. He doesn't feel comfortable in the surrounding world, he feels like a stranger both in the criminal and the normative cultures, and he feels his life is ruined. He is filled with bitterness and desire to lead a totally different sort of existence, but at first - at least make some big, beautiful gesture, succeed in having one real "day of celebration" in his sorrowful, mangled life. He also senses some underlying impropriety, pettiness, artificiality in the life of his society. The underside, or maybe the essence of the soviet living is painted in the film with a few skillful brush strokes. But he is also the one to blame in graphic confrontations with anyone he meets, because he is sure everyone is patronizing, underestimating him, and so he is trying to defend his honor. He is not strange to provocation. But he also tries to build bridges in his own awkward way, he tries to find understanding, and time after time faced with a cold response he is getting more and more angry. The point here has to do with more than the soviet society, it has to do with human nature and human life in general.

The Return (Russian: Возвраштение, Vozvrashcheniye) is a 2003 Russian film released internationally in 2004. It tells the story of two Russian boys whose father suddenly returns home after a 12-year absence. He takes the boys on a holiday to a remote island on a lake that turns into a test of manhood of almost mythic proportions. It won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
In contemporary Russia, young brothers Ivan (the younger one) and Andrei have grown a deep attachment to each other to make up for their fatherless childhood. Both their mother and grandmother live with them. After running home after a fight with each other, the boys are shocked to discover their father has returned after a 12-year absence. With their mother's uneasy blessing, Ivan and Andrei set out on what they believe will be a fishing vacation with him.
At first, the boys are ecstatic to be reunited with the father they've only known from a faded photograph, but they soon strain under the weight of their dad's awkward and increasingly brutal efforts to make up for a missing decade of parental supervision. Ivan and Andrei find themselves alternately tested, scolded, scrutinized, and ignored by the man through a changing series of encounters and hardships. Andrei seems to look up to his father while Ivan remains skeptical.

Се работи за серијал од 7 епизоди од рускиот режисер Владимир Хотиненко, не можев да најдам дури ни англиски превод, а руски не разбирам.
Значи барам превод. Ако знае некој руски и ако има слободно време да го преведе серијалов, или пак да најде превод на англиски, хрватски, бугарски или српски па ќе го преведам јас.

Дерсу Узала - можеби најдобриот филм од Куросава, а за мене најпријатно изненадување. Добитник на оскар за најдобар странски филм во 1975 година. Го имам гледано пред неколку месеци, можеби година и темава ми се виде како добро потсетување, за тоа кој е Куросава и каква може да биде понекогаш да биде руската кинематографија. Затоа што ова е руски филм. Навистина голем филм за малиот човек. За убавина и ужасот што го носи природата и за нераскинливата, исконска врска на човекот со неа. Се некако си мислам дека на извесен број форумџии филмов нема да им се допадне , но мене ми е криво што се поретко гледам мајсторски завршена работа, како оваа. Без некои светски познати актерски имиња, без скапи спектакли од секаков вид, дури и сценариото е толку едноставно, што некој обичен „смртник“ би помислил дека и тој би можел да го напише. А главниот лик, е тој е посебна приказна

Ѕвезда - Звезда (рус. ) или The Star , воен филм од 2002 год во режија на Николај Лебедев

Ноќна стража - Ночно́ј дозо́р (рус. ) или Night Watch , фантастика од 2004 во режија на Тимур Бекамбетов

Остров - на руски е исто или The Island , драма од 2006 во режија на Павел Лунгин

Руска Арка - Русскиј ковчег (рус.) или Russian Ark , по мое мислење не припаѓа на ниеден жанр и е уникатен затоа што е снимен во еден 96 минутен кадар , во режија на Александар Сокуров.

ПС. Барам помош од сите ....како се викаше сф филмот каде главниот протагонист имаше способност од својата десна рака да создаде ‘сечило‘ .......
