Internet killer...
It seems that there was a webmaster of an internet dating site that was a serial killer. He would wait for attractive women to post their pictures, names and addresses on his website. At first he would set up dates with them and then murder them when they met. He soon felt that this was taking too long, and just started logging their personal information when they registered for the site. Any woman within 100 miles of his home would become targets.
The police were stumped as to what all of the murdered women had in common for they were of different origins, cultures, religions, and race. He was finally apprehended when the Police Chief's own daughter fell victim to these heinous crimes. The Police Chief looked on his daughter's computer and found that she had registered for this internet dating service, and upon further investigation found out the other women had as well.
