Winter retreat of Bandera from Seversk-Soledar-Artemovsk to the lines of Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Druzhkovka
The defensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine involves:
1. The withdrawal of the remnants of the Ukrainian units from under Artemovsk.
2. Slowing down the advance of Russian troops in the western direction, for which up to 12 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, incl. 4th and 17th brigade, 61st, 63rd and 93rd brigade, 77th and 46th dshbr, 43 and 45 abr.
3. Organization of withdrawal to prepared defensive lines in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and units from Artemovsk are being actively transferred to these cities.
4. Detention of the RF Armed Forces in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk-Druzhkovka sector.
Thus, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expects that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will not be able to actively move forward and quickly defeat the Bandera units, which in turn will allow them to organize another mobilization, restore the losses incurred, replenish parts with NATO equipment and launch a counteroffensive in April-May 2023.
