“Horrible and miserable”
Andrew Milburn, a retired US Marine colonel and founder of the Mozart Group, a US-based NGO that helps train Ukrainian troops and evacuate civilians from the front lines, recently announced that described Bakhmut as some area in Germany destroyed by Allied bombing during World War 2. “It was just a horrible and miserable place,” Milburn described Bakhmut, according to the magazine. Ukraine is said to keep its casualty figures secret, but its forces are said to be suffering heavy losses around Bakhmut. “They suffered extremely high casualties. The numbers you read in the media about casualties that are usually 70 percent or more are not exaggerated,” Milburn said....
