I've been getting a lot of emails asking about Liverpool's reported interest in Ruud Van Nistelrooy, writes Guillem Balague.


I can tell you that Rafa Benitez is not interested in signing the Dutchman from Real Madrid because - while the former United striker's quality has never been questioned - there are major doubts over his fitness.

With limited funds, the Liverpool coach would rather focus on another kind of player and there is little point over the longer term in placing obstacles in the way of Ngog's progress: particularly at a time when he is starting to show glimpses of the player we all hoped he may become. Furthermore, Liverpool could not accommodate both Torres and Van Nistelrooy in the same starting XI and the priority is to get the most out of the Spanish striker's current form and keep him playing regularly.

In fact, Benitez is quite fed up with the stories linking Liverpool with Ruud and, despite the press speculation and despite the fact Ruud could leave Madrid for free as his contract finishes in the summer, it can be said that the target for January is quite different.

Точно е брат, сега видов по сајтовите и секаде пишува дека Досена е нов играч на Наполи.

Уште ништо не е официјално, а и на Гоал.ком (коа веке глеате од таму) коа ке пишува OFFICIAL тогаш трансферот ке биде официјален и сигурен, дотогаш ништо не се знае!

Maxi Rodriguez is close to joining Liverpool according to his agent Jurgen Milewski.


The Argentine international is thought to have opened talks with the Reds at the weekend after he was purposely left out of the Atletico Madrid squad for their game against Sevilla on Saturday.

The 29-year-old has fallen out of favour in Madrid this term and looks certain to switch to the Premier League.

The former Espanyol winger is out of contract in the summer but is only likely to sign initially on a short-term loan deal.

"I can say the chances of a transfer are high," Milewski is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.

In order for the transfer to go through Reds manager Rafa Benitez is looking to free up space on the wage bill by selling the likes of Andrea Dossena and Andriy Voronin, both of whom are locked in talks with respective suitors.

Инаку добро ќе биде да дојде сега на позајмица Макси а после ако го биде ќе се земе за без пари,оти сега некако тешко му оде ваа сезона во Атлетико.На гоал прочитев дека Макси разговарал со Маскерано и овој го наговорил да дојде кај нас.
