Keisuke Honda has attracted the interest of a whole number of big clubs, such as Feyenoord, Ajax, Chelsea and Liverpool, but Eindhoven side
PSV appear to be his next destination, according to
De Telegraaf.
"I am not interested in leaving VVV for another Dutch club than PSV. I know that they are keen to sign me, but I have a number of options abroad, too. PSV are my first choice though," said Honda to Dutch newspaper
De Telegraaf.
"I'm focussing on VVV for now, but I definitely want to play at a higher level in the not so distant future. I feel like I am ready for the next step in my career.
"I have not yet spoken with PSV, but my agent, Kees Ploegsma, has been in contact with them on a number of occasions."
PSV and VVV are reportedly already in talks about the transfer fee. The Eindhoven side are reluctant to meet VVV's €10 million asking price, but hope to convince the Limburg-based outfit by offering them a number of youngsters on loan, in addition to a transfer fee in the region of €7 million.
