Kawhi Leonard (right knee) has been a full participant at training camp.
Leonard went through both sessions of yesterday's two-a-day practice, and he's slated to again practice in full today, so it would appear he's fully recovered from the right ACL tear. He'll still likely be limited during the preseason, and will likely have his minutes monitored during the regular season with restrictions on back-to-back sets, but he should also be a first-round-caliber player on a per-game basis.
Zion Williamson has been dominating the early workouts at the Pelicans' training camp.
"Z looked amazing. His strength, his speed. He dominated the scrimmage pretty much," said Willie Green of his star forward following Tuesday's scrimmage. "And then he did a good job of looking for his teammates. What stood out the most was his force, more than anything." Larry Nance Jr. added that Zion is back to being "the same wrecking ball we all know and love," so expect his ADP to start climbing as the hype builds for the 22-year-old who regularly turns grown men into bowling pins as he attacks the hoop.
Anthony Davis said a right wrist injury impacted his shot over the past two seasons, but he's feeling "100% healthy" now.
AD said that his right (shooting) wrist was so sore that he was unable to follow through, which could help explain why his long-range shooting dropped off a cliff over the past few years (22.9% from 3). However, the 29-year-old is finally healthy again and he's made simply
staying on the floor a goal this season, so he could be in for a monster, bounce-back year.
